CompLink is a new service that allows the import of data from your local MLS into Comp Manager and/or your report.

You will need a comma-separated values (CSV) file with data exported from your MLS. This file can contain data for multiple properties. Because each MLS is unique, if you need assistance with this step, you will need to contact your MLS's technical support.

1. With a report open, go to Tools ⇨ Comp Manager.
2. On the Search pane in Comp Manager, select CompLink (subscription required), then click Load.

  • If you receive a message stating you don't have a CompLink subscription, please contact our Sales department to add the service to your account.

3. In the CompLink window, select your state on the left, then your MLS on the right.
4. Click Browse, then navigate to and select the CSV file you exported from your MLS. Click Open.
5. If your CSV contains data on single-family residential dwellings, select SFR. If your CSV contains data on condominium dwellings, select Condo.
6. Click Import.
7. Review the data imported from your MLS. If necessary, click Enhance Data, then Remove Duplicates. When you are satisfied with the data imported from your MLS, click Finished.
8. Your data will be loaded into a temporary database in Comp Manager. Click View Results.

  • You may specify search terms as you do in normal Comp Manager searches.

9. Select a destination for your imported MLS records.

  • If you want to use the records in your active report, drag the appropriate property tile to the appropriate comparable entry in the Transfer pane.
  • If you want to add the records to your permanent Comp Manager database, click Save MLS Data to Database.

10. If you wish to run an additional search on your MLS data, click Back to Search and return to step 8. If your work is complete, close Comp Manager.
