Using the Market Analysis Service with Fusion

To use the Appraise-It Market Analysis Service with this MLS, you must first set up your account to export in the correct format. Once you’ve created a customized export format, you can then export your searches.

Configure the Export

1. Log in and click Fusion.

2. Go to the search screen and run a search of your market.

3. After the search runs, click Results.

4. Click on the Grid Manager icon.

5. Click Create New Grid.

6. A column manager window will appear. Type "CF1004MC" for Grid Name, then add the fields shown in the Selected items column from the Available items column. The exact name of your custom fields may vary. Below is a detailed description of what each field represents. They must be set up in this same order.

  • DOM – Days on Market; number of days a property was listed.
  • List Date – The date a property was listed for sale.
  • List Price – The price a property was listed for.
  • Pending/Contract Date – The date a contract for purchase was signed.
  • Sold Date – The date a property closed / transferred.
  • Sold Price – The price a property sold for.
  • Status – The current status of a listing (active, pending, sold, expired, etc.)
  • Status Date – The date the property was placed in its status.

When the fields are selected in the exact order shown below, click Save.

7. Go back to your search results and continue.

 

Export the Search

1. On the search results screen, go to ToolsExport Data.

2. Select Comma Delimited as the Data Export Format and CF1004FM as the Export Grid, then click OK.

3. Click Save, then select a memorable location (such as your Desktop) and name for your file and click Save again.

4. When the download is complete, click Close.

You can now load this file into the Appraise-It Market Analysis Service.
