Appraise-It allows you to create FNMA compliant MISMO XML files.
1. With your completed report open, go to Orders ⇨ Create MISMO XML.
2. The XML creation wizard will launch. If this is a UAD report, the UAD Validator will run to ensure your report complies with UAD guidelines. If any errors or warnings are discovered, you have the opportunity to correct them now and revalidate. Click Next.
3. The next screen displays the current save location for your XML and PDF files. The default save location is your TRADATA\PDF folder, and the default save name is your report's file number. You can change these by clicking Browse and entering a new file name or selecting a different save location. Click Next.
4. You will see a screen similar to the standard Print dialog, where you can select which pages you want included in the XML and PDF. You have access to your print schemes here as well. When you have selected the appropriate pages, click Create PDF.
5. Your report will reformat, respond to any prompts. You may see several progress bars as the process completes. When it's done, you'll recieve a confirmation displaying the save locations for both files, and an option to view your PDF file. Click Exit.
You can now send your XML and/or PDF to your client. Note that the MISMO XML file contains an embedded first-generation PDF, as required by FNMA's specifications.
