How do I add extra pictures to my Image Manager 1.0 database?

Image Manager is designed to interface directly with report files, and its database reflects the contents of reports. There is no way to directly add extra photos to your database without also adding them to a report. However, you may need to store extra photos for future use associated with a specific address.

Storing Extra General Photos
If you took general photos for your subject that you do not want to include in your report, but you want to store them in your database, simply add them to any of the General Photo Pages not in use in your current report, and don't include those pages when you send your report to your client.

Storing Extra Comp Photos
If you took comp photos for comp addresses not in use in your current report, but you want to add them to your database now, you have two options.

  • Even if you aren't ready to fill out the report the comps will be used in, you can still create their report and transfer the photos in, saving the report for later completion.
  • If you have comp photos for new comp addresses that you don't have an immediate use for, you can create a 'dummy' report just for loading comps. Create a new blank report and save it as COMP1 or similar, enter your comp data in the grids, then open Image Manager and load in your photos.
