Why can't I access all my photo addenda in Photograph-It Plus?

Photograph-It Plus is only capable of working with the photo addenda that are actually present in your report. While it will have tabs for extra photo addenda, if those addenda do not exist in your report, you will need to restructure a custom skeleton to include them.

1. If you have an existing custom skeleton you wish to restructure, open a new blank report based on the custom skeleton and skip to Step 5. If you do not have an existing custom skeleton, open a new report of the type you'd like to restructure and continue to Step 2.
2. Go to FileSave as Skeleton.
3. Enter a name for your custom skeleton and click Save, then OK.
4. Close the report, then open a new report using your new custom skeleton.
5. Open the restructure dialog.

  • In Appraise-It 9.0 or higher, go to ActionRestructure custom skeleton.
  • In Appraise-It 8.3 or below, Go to FileUtilitiesRestructure Report

6. Select PHOT_LIB.RPT in the Available Addenda Libraries drop-down in the bottom half of the Report Builder dialog.

7. In the Current Contents list at the top of the Report Builder dialog, select the addendum below where you want the new one to appear in the report, then select the new one from the Addenda Available In Selected Library drop-down below and click Insert Into. The new addendum will be inserted above the addendum you selected.

8. To remove an unneeded addendum, select it and click Delete.
9. When you have finished adding and/or removing addenda, click OK.
10. You can use the dialog here to enter notes about the changes you made to the default skeleton. Click OK.
11. Close the open report.

If your report was created with the custom skeleton you just restructured, reopen your report and the new photo addenda will be available. If your report was created with a default skeleton, follow steps 12 through 16 to load it into your new custom skeleton.

12. In Appraise-It, go to FileOpen.
13. Browse to the report file you want to open and select it.
14. Hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard while clicking Open.
15. Click OK if you get a message that says "The skeleton used to create the selected report could not be located. Please choose the skeleton that best describes your report."
16. Select the custom skeleton you just created and click OK. The report will now contain the new photo addenda; be sure to save the report.
