Why is my text running off the page?

Appraise-It attempts to calculate how much text can fit on a line before wrapping down to the next line, based on your current printer and display settings, and it is possible for it to be a little off, typically resulting in text extending beyond the border of the page. You can manually adjust this margin if Appraise-It's automatic calculations are incorrect.

1. Confirm that the Reformat Report option is checked in the Print dialog.

  • If it is not checked, check it and print again to see if that resolves the issue.
  • If checking it does not resolve the issue, or if it is already checked, proceed to step 2.

2. Go to FormatReportRight Margin.
2. The default Right Margin setting is 98. Set it to 93.
3. Print an example page, to see if the text is now wrapping correctly.

  • If the text is still running over slightly, go back to FormatReportRight Margin and lower the setting further.
  • If the text is now wrapping too soon, go back to FormatReportRight Margin and raise the setting a little.

It may take a few tries to match the text wrapping to your expectations, but when it is, this setting will be retained for future print jobs.
