What do I do if I receive a message about repairing my report?

If you attempt to open a report file that is corrupt, Appraise-It 9.4.2 and above will detect the corruption and automatically repair it.

1. In Appraise-It, open your corrupt file. A message will appear letting you know that Appraise-It has detected report corruption.
2. Click OK to fix the report. During the repair operation, some of your extended comments may be cleared to remove the corruption.
3. Once the repair operation is complete, the report will open and a window containing all of the recovered text from your extended comments will be displayed.
4. Check your extended comments for any missing text. If you find anything missing, use the recovered text to copy and paste the text back into your extended comments. The window will always stay on top so you won't lose it, and it can be resized to better fit your workspace. Do not close this window until you finished. Keep in mind that the recovered text may not be in order and may not match the listed headers.
5. When you are done, save your report.

Your report is now free of corruption.
