You can embed images in your custom skeletons. This is particularly useful when clients require a copy of your license in every report. We recommend you place the image file(s) you wish to embed in the C:\TRADATA\IMAGE folder (C:\ is the default location; your folder may be on a different drive).
In Appraise-It 9.0 And Above
1. Open a new report based on the custom skeleton you wish to embed your image in.
2. Go to the page where you would like to embed your image (for example, Contents ⇨ Additional Addenda ⇨ FAX/SCAN Addenda) and double-click in the blue image area where you'd like to load an image.
3. Scanlink will open. Click Browse.
4. In the Open dialog, navigate to your image file and select it, then click Open.
5. In the Scanlink window, you will see a preview of your image. Click OK.
6. Your image should appear in your report. Repeat steps 2 through 5 if you have multiple images to embed.
7. Go to File ⇨ Save as Skeleton. You can overwrite your existing skeleton, or give the skeleton with the embedded images a new name. Click Save, then OK.
Your custom skeleton now contains embedded images.
