How do I import a report?

Importing a report is one way to use information from an existing report in a new report.

In Appraise-it Classic

1. Open a new blank report.

2. Go to ActionImport.

3. Click Browse to select an existing report, or use the drop-down to select a recent report.

4. Select the sections of the report you would like to import.

  • Hold down the "Ctrl" key and click on individual sections in the list to select more than one.
  • Click Select All to select all available sections.
  • Click Available Addenda to view and select addenda in the source report.

5. Click OK and wait for the information to be imported from the existing report into the new report. If you receive any prompts, click Yes or OK.
6. Once the import is complete, review your report file to ensure all information imported correctly. Keep in mind that font, calculation, or transfer settings are not imported.

In Appraise-it PRO

1. Open a new blank report

2. in the Home tab, go to Import Forms

3. Use the dropdown or Browse to select a previous report

4. Use the checkboxes to select the parts of the report you would like to import

5. Use the checkboxes in the bottom right corner to select whether you want to overwrite, bring extended comments, or adjustments.  

6.  Click Import

7. Once the import is complete, review your report file to ensure all information imported correctly. Keep in mind that font, calculation, or transfer settings are not imported.
